inSelly, Marketplace for Instagram, is a brainchild of a battle-tested husband and wife team, Ksenija and Aleksandrs, who launched this project in January 2014 with an ultimate goal to help women organize occasional garage sales, sell unwanted fashion pieces, handmade items and anything else that can be turned into extra income for the family. Easily, quickly, with 0% commissions, using only their smartphone and Instagram app. And also buy great items, like pre-loved kids clothing, home decor pieces etc. from other women.
Why?
Back in October 2010 Instagram was created as a platform for sharing photos, but in time it became a hot destination for women who’d love to sell some unwanted or handmade items. The photo app unites over 200 million users and is a powerful selling tool. Besides, there are no sales commissions or any limitations on what to sell which is a key factor that defines why this social network is slowly turning into a bazaar.
Yet Instagram wasn’t targeted for selling therefore sellers have to solve several puzzles. How to get payment from buyer? How to discuss purchase details? How to get more potential customers? inSelly is the answer to all of these questions.
What?
inSelly is a place where instagramers can discover all sales offers from their favorite social network as well as to setup their own personal online shop in just few clicks. She can sign in using Instagram login, add basic contact information, PayPal email, prices and get a full blown online shop to start selling right away. We also offer several tools to promote items on the platform, increase visibility and boost sales.
