Here are a few ways you can save!
1. Utilize your school’s library
A lot of college students seem to overlook the library. Yeah
it’s a great place to get homework and studying done but it’s also a gold mine
for books. You never know, the library might have your text book hidden away on
its shelves. Ask your librarian to see if they have it! If the library is a no

2. Share
If you have a buddy in the class, split the cost of the text
book. Depending on your school’s policies for photocopying, you can photocopy
the pages you need for homework. It’s a great way to save money, but if you

3. Rent if you can!
Renting is a whole world cheaper than owning the text book.
This is great for classes that don’t necessarily pertain to your major (my liberal
arts school folk!). You can rent a $200 book for only $40. Your school’s book
store should have this option or try Amazon.com! But if you don’t want to rent…
4. AMAZON!
I love Amazon.com for buying literally anything. And as a
student, if you sign up with your school email, you can get 6 months free of
Amazon prime (yay 2 day shipping!). You can not only rent from Amazon, but you
can find your text books new or used. Another great thing is you can download
e-books to your kindle or kindle app. This is great if you are in a bind and
